COMMENTS: Water clear to 6 feet. Lots of baitfish - small mackerel and jacksmelt. No halibut caught this weekend - maybe because the water temps are so low. Saw largest cabezon caught this year out of the reef - 17" on squid. Note: the Specklefin Midshipman is noted for its mating call which is a low humming sound ... a sound I heard all morning long!
